David Evans is the only person to be a Haywood High School Cheerleader
(1948) and a Haywood High School football player (1949). Having transferred to Haywood
from Chattanooga's McCallie School (private school) in 1948, Evans was ineligible for
one year and could not play football until 1949.

Myrajo (Thornton) Hurley was cheerleader for HHS in 1941, 1942, and 1943.
Amy Martinez (Myrajo's granddaughter) was a cheerleader for HHS in 1986, 1987, and 1988.
Brooke Voss, Rachel Bagget, Carleigh Graham, and Andrea Smith are the only
4-year HHS cheerleaders.
